Aaron Diaz

Born and raised in Denver, Colorado, I’ve been in the tattoo industry since 2012. While I trained traditionally and explored many tattoo styles early on, I’ve spent the last six years focusing exclusively on lettering. Heavily influenced by Chicano art growing up, I’ve always been drawn to the art of letters—believing that words and phrases can be just as powerful and expressive as any other tattoo style when treated as true works of art.

This passion has allowed me to travel across the country, tattooing my lettering and calligraphy on collectors and fellow tattoo artists from around the world, as well as collaborating with globally recognized clothing brand Sullen Art Collective. The style I’m most known for—and what most clients seek me out for—is my calligraphy. I’m a self-taught calligraphy artist specializing in Fraktur calligraphy and abstract lettering.
